THE APARTMENT:

6th floor, with lift, in a fully renovated 1860 Old Milan style building. The door is armoured and there is a safe. Entry with fully equipped kitchen corner, bedroom with double bed (+ baby or 3rd extra folding bed if requested), wardrobe and writing table, TV, bathroom with wide shower (we have a brand new bathroom since the beginning of 2021). All rooms have windows, smaller in the bathroom and in the kitchen, big in the bedroom. Cooking facilities, microwaves, refrigerator with small freezer, washing&drying machine, toaster, orange squeezer, espresso coffee machine, Hi-fi, satelliteTV, WIFI internet connection included, iron & ironing table, hairdryer, vacuum cleaner, folding table where 2/3 people may dine.

Bed linen, towels, water, gaz, heating in winter, air-con in Summertime, electric power, are included.

We offer the apartment to 2 persons, but if you have a baby, we provide a baby bed, and if you are three we provide an extra folding bed.

THE LOCATION:

The apartment is located in via Panfilo CASTALDI 30, near Porta Venezia and is very well served by public transport. There is plenty of restaurants all around, the chemist/pharmacy is opposite, there are bars and coffee shops, small and big supermarkets, including an Organic Food one in via Melzo (5 min. walk), bakery, bank, 24hrs cash withdrawal, take-away pizza, laundry, tobaccos, newspapers. You can also call PIZZA or chinese or japanese restaurants to have the food delivered at home. Corso Buenos Aires shopping street crosses via Castaldi 50 mt from the flat. You may walk to famous via della Spiga fashion shops, which starts along corso Venezia, the road starting in Porta Venezia. You may do jogging  in Porta Venezia gardens, 1 min. from home, or swim at the Cozzi swimmingpool (4 or 5 € entry fee), 33mt long, a 1930s renovated monument. In Porta Venezia, one minute walk from the apartment, there are: taxi station, underground station, tramway stop, BIKEMI city bike rental, entrance to P.ta Venezia gardens, beginning of corso B.Aires shopping street, beginning of c.so Venezia road to San Babila.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

The area is among the better served by public transport in Milan. The underground Porta Venezia stop is one minute walk and takes you to Duomo in 5 minutes (3 stops) if you don't want to take a nice walk through corso Venezia and corso Vittorio Emanuele. The same line (the red one, number 1) also reaches directly FIERA MILANO-RHO. The tramway takes you all around the centre of town, reaching the Navigli without need of a car. The tramway running on viale Tunisia takes you in 4 stops to the Centrale railway station, from where buses head to Malpensa, Linate and Orio al Serio airports. To reach Linate airport you take the underground to San Babila (2 stops) where the 73 and 73/ buses start to Linate aiport. By taxi it's about 17 €, something more at night or early morning.

PARKING:

If you arrive by car, you can leave it at a paying parking near the apt. You won't need the car unless you go outside of town. It is much easier to use public transport, and we are just outside the C-zone were you need to pay to get in.
